About

To celebrate the opening of their new office in Nolita, the team at Avant/Garde Diaries asked NBNY to produce a projection mapping installation to transform the historic carriage house into a visually arresting venue. Sponsored by Mercedes-Benz, The Avant/Garde Diaries is a digital platform that asks creative tastemakers to consider what “avant garde” means for their personal practice. On the occasion of the project’s one-year anniversary, the opening party featured music by DJ’s Pete Rock and Kim Sweeney, a Live performance by Janka Nabay and The Bubu Gang, all amplified by immersive videos projected across the ceiling, windows, and walls of this new space on Mott and Broome.

Special thanks to artist Chika and Blue Whale Studios.
